One afternoon in the fall of 2012 I cut down a dying bush in my backyard. The following spring I went out in my backyard and discovered this beautiful fungi/mushroom growing out of the location where I had previously cut down the bush. The growth spanned about 8 inches at it's widest and flourished for about a week, then began to wither. Maybe I should cut down a few more bushes?

Fairy Circle
I was lucky to capture this 'fairy-circle' of toadstools on July 14th, 2015.

I came across this plethora of mushrooms where there had been some demolition going on.

Stumbled on this Fungi while walking on a trail in the Smoky Mtns.

Most mushrooms seem to flourish around decomposing stumps or wood piles.
